Ayurvedic Kansa Vatki Foot Massage
This is a unique Ayurvedic foot massage using a small Kansa Bowl made from copper. It is known in Ayurveda as the “healing metal”. It is used on the feet and lower legs to massage marma points (vital energy points) and the seven chakras (energy centres) that are reflexed on the soles of the feet.
It is a deeply relaxing holistic treatment, which helps to balance body, mind and spirit, allowing the energy to flow more freely throughout the body. Ghee, coconut oil or sesame oil is applied to the feet and legs followed by a deeply relaxing massage to these areas. Then the sacred bowl is used in a sequential technique on each foot and leg, leaving the client feeling totally refreshed and soothed.
